TALES FROM THE DAY
Mike & Nathan
Mike & Nathan
Mike & Nathan felt Sorrento could perfectly fit their love, so they chose it as the ideal frame for their 3-day event: the memorable Welcome Dinner, the unforgettable Wedding Day and the relaxing Beach Day.
We soon got the feeling this would happen, since the first time we had been in contact - with their wedding day slowly taking shape through the months!
To thank their guests travelling from all over the world, Mike & Nathan treated them with the Welcome Bags, specifically delivered to their hotels - a little gift that made a big difference! Lemon patterned, it also contained the Welcome map and Itinerary which genuinely piqued the guests curiosity!
On their first day event, the Italian style welcome dinner was studied in detail with pizzas, traditional food, cheese corner with on site hand-made mozzarella. A rustic chic large farm with a pool welcomed the party under skylights, accompanied by the lively DJ music, a few drinks and laughs.
Tables decorated with aromatic herbs and vegetables, tied with the natural beauty of its surroundings. Coming from different countries, there were a few people meeting for the first time, and it was great to get everyone acquainted before the Big Day.
The Wedding Day was a celebration of LOVE. Both Mike & Nate were thrilled and nervous but ready to exchange promises.
Ceremony & reception were both held in two different areas of the same venue.
They walked down a marvellous aisle of white hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus and greenery, and framed their "I DO" in a two-moon flower arch.
The reception area was enriched with a touch of blue & yellow which gave off warm and pleasant smells, with the Italian style sweet table boasting a cascade of flowers.
Springs of delicate, globe-shaped lights decorated all the terrace, making it romantic, accompanied by the melody of the harp during the rite, sax & guitar on aperit and a band to entertain the party for dinner.
After the wedding, the celebration went on in "the Cave", a real grotto set on the beach level of the venue, where hanging installations and dancing lights accompanied the party, through the DJ musical vibe and his matching console.
Nathan played some music, too - being an experienced DJ himself, amusing the whole party for some time!
The day after they had a laid-back time on the beach, a lovely spot where to enjoy the sun, with good food, friendly service.
The icing on the cake? The personalised wedding stationery for the 3 venues. It was not just choosing a design but it added their personal touch to the event, from the Tableau to the Guest Name Cards, Liomncello name tags, etc. It helped to create the tone of the event.
